Early Life
Adam Sandler was born on 9th September, 1966 in Brooklyn, NY. His family relocated to Manchester, New Hamsphire at a very young age of six. Adam Sandler attended New York University’s Tisch School of Arts graduating in 1988.
He made cameo appearances in The Cosby Show as well on the MTV game show Remote Control prior to graduation. He landed irregular film gig after graduating. Adam took to stand-up until he was discovered by Saturday Night Live Weekend Update Anchor Dennis Miller.
On the recommendation of Miller, he was hired as a writer on SNL. Adam became a cast member the following year becoming famous within a short span of time. He starred in the classic Billy Madison. Adam was shown the exit with cast mate Chris Fendy in 1995.
The decade that followed him saw him appear in a number of comedies including Happy Gilmore, The Wedding Singer, The Waterboy, Big Daddy, Little Nicky, Mr. Deeds, 50 First Dates and The Longest Yard and others. He produced several movies in which he did not make appearances himself. Mostly, franchises for pals Rob Sneider, David Spade and Nick Swardson.

Adam Sandler is simply known for making funny movies and receiving huge cash in return. Adam has received some of the highest paychecks in the entertainment industry constantly earning over $25 million per movie in addition to guaranteed percentages.
Since leaving SNL, he had starred in over 50 major studio releases. Adam raked at least $20 million for about 20 of such movies. Between 1995 and 1996, he earned a mouth-watering $4.2 million in revenues from Billy Madison and Bullet Proof.
He grossed $8 million for Big Daddy in 1999. He signed a deal with Sony Pictures entitling him to a base salary of $20 million per movies plus 20% to 25% of film’s gross profit. In 2003, he earned $25 million plus 25% of the gross.
Adam signed a jaw-dropping $250 million production deal with Netflix in 2014. Between 2016 and 2019, Adam earned in excess of $150 million in bonuses and deals.

Personal Life
Adam got married to model cum actress Jacqueline Titone also known as Jackie Sandler in 2003. The couple have two children together.
