Anthony Firkser Early Life
Firkser was born on February 19, 1995, to Alex and Donna Firkser in New Jersey, America. He is Jewish, and he and his family, including brothers Josh and Thomas, were members of Manalapan’s Temple Shaari Emeth. He was a multi-sport athlete and went to Manalapan High School. He participated in basketball, but did not start participating in football until his sophomore year of high school. He achieved career highs at his school for touchdown receptions (19), receiving yards (2,118), and receptions (110). He received the All-Shore Offensive Player of the Year honor following his senior season as a wide receiver. Additionally, he was chosen for the All-Shore first team twice.

He went to Harvard University and was a member of the Harvard Crimson football team. In 2014, he participated in his first collegiate game as a sophomore. For Harvard, he played in 10 games and had 32 receptions for 485 yards. He was selected to the All-Ivy second team following the season. As a junior in 2015, he started nine games and hauled in 22 catches for 372 yards and three scores. He started all 10 games as a senior, hauling in 45 passes for 702 yards and seven scores. He finished his collegiate career with the 12th-most receptions, ninth-most receiving yards, and sixth-most touchdown receptions in school history. He earned an applied mathematics degree from Harvard in 2017.

Firkser joined the New York Jets in May 2017 as an undrafted free agent. In September, the Jets released him. He was added to the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad in November 2017. In January 2018, he agreed to a reserve/future deal with the Chiefs. He was signed by the Tennessee Titans in May 2018. He has 19 receptions for 225 yards and a score at the end of the 2018 season, and 14 receptions for 204 yards and a touchdown at the end of the 2019 season. He committed to a one-year agreement with the Titans in February 2020, and he concluded the campaign with 39 receptions for 387 yards and a score.
He hauled in two receptions for a total of 44 yards in the playoff Wildcard round. He re-signed with the Titans on a one-year contract in March 2021. With 34 receptions for 291 yards and two touchdowns, Firkser ended the 2021 season. He signed a one-year contract in April 2022 with the Atlanta Falcons, but he was cut loose in August of that same year. He was added to the practice squad the next day, moved up to the main roster in September, and then released. Natalie Hennessy is his wife. They haven’t had children yet.
