Azur Kamara NFL Career
Despite his impressive college career, Kamara went undrafted in the 2013 NFL Draft. However, he was signed as a free agent by the Dallas Cowboys shortly after the draft. Kamara spent the entire 2013 season on the Cowboys’ practice squad but was waived the following year during the team’s final roster cuts.
Kamara was out of football for the entire 2014 season but was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs in January 2015. He impressed during the team’s training camp and made the final roster for the 2015 season. Kamara played in nine games for the Chiefs in his rookie season, recording six tackles and one sack.
Kamara played for the Chiefs for two more seasons before being released by the team in September 2017. He signed with the New York Giants in October 2017 but was released a month later without playing in a game.
