Bo Scarbrough, a running back in American football who plays for the Birmingham Stallions of the United States Football League, was born on September 29, 1994. In college, he played football for Alabama.

Bo Scarbrough – Early Life

Bo Scarbrough was born in Eutaw, Alabama, on September 29, 1994. Scarbrough played high school football for the Jaguars while attending Northridge High School in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

He broke his ankle in his first year of college. Before to tearing his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) toward the conclusion of the season and missing the playoffs, he had 938 running yards and 13 touchdowns as a sophomore.

He gained 792 rushing yards in six games as a junior before suffering a high ankle sprain early in the seventh game.

He confirmed his transfer to Tuscaloosa County High School in Northport, Alabama, as a senior in June 2013. He announced his transfer to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, two months later, in August 2013.

He carried for 1,468 yards and 20 touchdowns in ten games. He made his collegiate football commitment to the University of Alabama after receiving a unanimous five-star recruiting rating.

Bo Scarbrough Career

The Dallas Cowboys selected Scarbrough in the seventh round (236th overall) in the 2018 NFL Draft. He was one of the 12 Alabama players selected in that year’s draft.

Scarbrough joined the Jacksonville Jaguars practice squad on October 11, 2018.

Off the Jaguars practice squad, Scarbrough was signed by the Seattle Seahawks on December 18, 2018. For the most recent two games, he was listed as inactive. He was released on the 31st of August 2019.

Scarbrough joined the Detroit Lions practice squad on November 6, 2019. He was added to the active roster on November 16, 2019, to provide as depth while running back Kerryon Johnson was sidelined with a torn meniscus.

  1. D. McKissic lost the starting job to Scarbrough for the Week 11 matchup with his old team, the Dallas Cowboys. In the 35-27 defeat, he ran 14 times for 55 yards (3.93 yards per attempt) and a touchdown.

Scarbrough committed to the Las Vegas Raiders on August 6, 2021. In 2021, on August 16th, he was released.

On May 9, 2022, Scarbrough signed a contract with the Birmingham Stallions of the United States Football League. Bo contributed to the Stallions’ 33-30 victory over the Philadelphia Stars in the first USFL Championship.
