Cam Newton Early Life
On May 11, 1989, Newton was born in Atlanta, Georgia. He is the younger brother of NFL center Cecil Newton and the son of Jackie and Cecil Newton Sr., a safety for the 1983 Dallas Cowboys and 1984 Buffalo Bills.

Around the middle of the 2010s, Caylin, his youngest brother, played quarterback for the Howard Bison. When he was younger, Newton was a gifted basketball and baseball player, but he acquired a phobia of getting hit by a pitch in baseball and struggled to stay out of foul trouble on the court.
He gave up basketball early in his high school career and baseball when he was 14 years old. Newton earned a sociology degree from Auburn University in 2015.

He became the group’s first fresh primary starter since 2002. The Panthers advanced to the Super Bowl in 2015 after winning the NFC Championship. Cam is the father of seven beautiful children. Sovereign-Dior, Cashmere, Chosen, and Camidas are all children of his ex-girlfriend Kia Proctor. He also shares a son, Caesar, with Instagram model La Reina Shaw, who was born while Proctor was carrying Cashmere.
Shakira Proctor of Proctor and Jaden Shaw of Shaw both regard Newton to be their fathers. Prior to switching to a vegan diet, Newton was a pescatarian.
