Christie Lee Hudson later Christie Brinkley was born in 1954 in Monroe, Michigan. Her parents are Herbert Hudson and Marjorie. Her family relocated to Los Angeles where her mother met and married Donald Brinkley who was a producer and writer. They lived in Malibu and Brentwood.
Christie went to Paul Revere junior High and Le Lycée Français de Los Angeles. In 1972, she moved to Paris to pursue art. In 1973, fate brought her into contact with American photographer, Errol Sawyer. Through Sawyer, Christie came to know many prominent and influential photographers.
Career
Christie latched unto the opportunity that came with the fame and appeared continuously in three covers of the Sports activities Illustrated Swimsuit. Christie has featured in numerous magazine covers. This includes; Vogue, Newsweek, Cosmopolitan, Esquire, Harper’s Bazaar, Rolling stone among others.
Christie holds contracts with brands such as Max Factor, Nissan, Revlon, Prell, Diet Coke, and Chanel No. 19. Her work has taken her to over 30 countries across six continents.
The model has featured in movies. In 1983, she made her debut in “National Lampoon’s Vacation”. She played the role of an unnamed girl in the red Ferrari. She appeared on stage for the first time in 2011 playing Roxie Hart in “Chicago”.

Personal Life
As of 2021, the beautiful, the iconic model had been involved in four marriages. Her modeling charm obviously did not pervade her marriage life as well. She got wedded to Jean-François Allaux in 1973, by 1981, the couple had gone their separate ways.
Christie found love again in 1985. She married musician Billy Joel. The couple has a daughter named Alexa ray Joel. They divorced in 1994. She got married to Richard Taubman with whom she had a son. This marriage also ended abruptly in 1995. Brinkley wedded Peter Halsey Cook an architect. The bore a daughter together before going their separate ways in 2008.
