Deandre Washington Early Life and College Career
Washington was a standout athlete at Thurgood Marshall High School in Missouri City, Texas. He was a four-star recruit and was considered one of the top running backs in the country. During his senior year, he rushed for 1,473 yards and 20 touchdowns and was named the District 23-5A Offensive Player of the Year.
After graduating from high school, Washington committed to playing college football for the Texas Tech Red Raiders. He had an impressive college career, finishing with 4,408 rushing yards, 71 receptions for 450 yards, and 43 total touchdowns. He was named to the All-Big 12 Conference Second Team in 2014 and 2015.

Washington was selected in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Oakland Raiders. He played in 14 games during his rookie season, rushing for 467 yards and two touchdowns on 87 carries. He also caught 17 passes for 115 yards and a touchdown. In 2017, Washington played in all 16 games for the Raiders, rushing for 153 yards and two touchdowns on 57 carries. He also caught 34 passes for 197 yards.
