Hall began his NFL career with the Atlanta Falcons in 2004. He played for the Falcons for four seasons and was named to the Pro Bowl in 2005, 2006, and 2007. In 2008, Hall was traded to the Oakland Raiders, where he played for one season.
In 2009, Hall signed with the Washington Redskins and played for them for nine seasons. During his time with the Redskins, he continued to be a top cornerback in the league and was named to the Pro Bowl in 2010, 2011, and 2013. He also set a Redskins record for the most interceptions returned for touchdowns in a career.
In 2017, Hall signed a one-day contract with the Redskins so he could retire as a member of the team. Over his 14-year career, Hall played in 171 games and recorded 811 tackles, 43 interceptions, and 11 touchdowns.
