Denico Autry is a professional American football player who currently plays as an outside linebacker for the Tennessee Titans in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on July 15, 1990, in Albemarle, North Carolina, in the United States.
Denico Autry Early Life
Autry was born and raised in Albemarle, North Carolina, where he grew up with his parents and siblings. His parents are known to be called Lee Autry and Lasonya Autry. He attended Albemarle High School, where he started playing football as a defensive lineman for the school’s team. During his high school football career, he was recognized for his exceptional skills and was named to the All-State team twice.
After graduating from high school, Denico Autry went on to attend East Mississippi Community College, where he continued to play football. During his time at East Mississippi, he was named the team’s Most Valuable Player and was recognized as an NJCAA All-American.

Denico Autry NFL Career
Autry’s professional football career began when he signed with the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 2014. He spent three seasons with the Raiders, during which he played in 40 games and recorded 10.5 sacks. In 2017, he signed with the Indianapolis Colts as a free agent, where he played for four seasons, recording 20.5 sacks, 41 quarterback hits, and 26 tackles for loss.
In March 2021, Autry signed a three-year, $21.5 million contract with the Tennessee Titans. In his first season with the Titans, he played in 16 games and recorded 6.0 sacks, 12 quarterback hits, and 11 tackles for loss. His impressive performance helped the Titans make the playoffs, where they reached the divisional round before losing to the Cincinnati Bengals.
