American football player DeShone Kizer is a free agent. He spent four seasons as a player in the National Football League (NFL). He is 107 kg and 1.93 m tall.

Deshone Kizer NFL Early Life

American parents Mindy and Derek Kizer welcomed Kizer into the world on January 3, 1996 in Ohio. Between 1987 and 1991, his father played hoops for Bowling Green. Maelyn and Dayven, Kizer’s sibling and brother, are both named. He played football while a student at Central Catholic High School and was honored as the 2013 senior year’s co-offensive AP Ohio Division III player of the year. He accumulated 1,211 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns in addition to 5,684 passing yards and 56 passing touchdowns throughout his tenure. He participated in collegiate football while attending the University of Notre Dame, playing for the Fighting Irish.

In 2015, he played against Texas after redshirting his first season in 2014 and his first year of college. He had 2,880 passing yards, 525 rushing yards, 31 total scores, and 13 games in 2015, his redshirt first year. He had 215 yards passing, five passing touchdowns, and 77 yards rushing to open the 2016 season. His college tenure included 12 games, 2,925 passing yards, 472 rushing yards, and 34 touchdowns in all. He made the decision to join the 2017 NFL Draft instead of using up his final two years of eligibility after the 2016 season.

Kizer attended the NFL Combine on invitation and finished all of the exercises with the exception of the bench press. With the 52nd overall choice in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns made him their selection. He inked a $4.94 million, four-year deal with the Browns in June 2017 that features a $2.42 million guarantee and a $1.73 million signing bonus. Kizer completed the game with 222 passing yards, a score, and an interception in his NFL debut in September. In his first season, he made 15 starts and had a 53.6 completion percentage for 2,894 yards, 11 touchdowns, and a league-high 22 picks. Additionally, he ran for 419 yards and five scores.

Kizer was traded to the Green Bay Packers in March 2018. As part of the final roster cuts, the Packers dismissed him on August 31, 2019. He was picked up off unclaimed by the Oakland Raiders in September. He was released by the Las Vegas Raiders in May 2020. In September 2020, he was re-signed to the Raiders practice roster and released the following month. He was added to the Tennessee Titans practice roster in November 2020. On January 11, 2021, a futures contract was inked with him. On November 26, 2021, he was re-signed to the practice team but was released three days later. Kizer is not married but he was previously in a relationship with a lady called Elli Thatcher. He has no children either.
