Early Life
Jeffree Star was born Jeffree Lynn Steininger Jr. on November 15, 1985 in Orange County, California. At just 6 years of age, his father committed suicide. Jeffree was brought up by his mother Marra Shubyann Lindstrom Steininger.
He started experimenting with his mother’s make-up at a very young age. During his high school days, he actually began wearing make-up to school everyday. Jeffree quickly relocated to Hollywood to pursue his passion in modeling and makeup. In Hollywood, he worked at a number of makeup counters whiles soliciting for gigs at weddings and fashion shoots.
While in Hollywood, Jeffree connected himself with celebrities. He managed to gain a lot of following on social media especially MySpace where he showcased his works.
