Jerramy Ryan Stevens happens to be a former American football tight end who was active in the NFL from 2002 to 2010.
Stevens was born on November 13, 1979, in Boise, Idaho, to Fran, a police officer, and Bob, a black father who had previously taught and coached high school athletics. The three siblings of Stevens. There, while a student at River Ridge High School, he played football. In 1998, he received his degree. After graduating from high school, he enrolled in the University of Washington, where he played college football for the Huskies of Washington.
Following a redshirt year as a true freshman in 1998, he had 21 receptions for 265 yards and 4 touchdowns in 1999. In 2000, he caught 43 passes for 600 yards and three touchdowns, and he and Washington won the Rose Bowl the following year. Stevens made 7 receptions for 103 yards in a September game against Colorado that year. With 5 catches for 51 yards in the Rose Bowl match that year, he led Washington in receiving. He caught 10 passes for 88 yards and one touchdown in 2001.
In the first round of the 2002 NFL Draft, the Seattle Seahawks selected Stevens. His rookie season in 2002 saw him participate in 12 games with one start, and on September 8 he made his NFL debut against the Oakland Raiders. He participated in all 16 games in 2003, starting two of them, and recording six receptions for 72 yards. He started five of the 16 games he played in in 2004. He caught 31 passes for a total of 349 yards and three touchdowns.

He recorded 45 receptions for 554 yards and 5 touchdowns in 2005, starting 12 of the 16 games he appeared in. Stevens hauled in three catches for 25 yards in Super Bowl XL in 2006. Seattle’s first-ever Super Bowl touchdown was one of his catches. He signed a contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2007, and in December, during a game against the New Orleans Saints, he caught his first touchdown pass as a Buccaneer.
For violating the league’s substance abuse policy, the NFL suspended Stevens for one game without pay on December 11. His contract with the Buccaneers was extended in May 2008. He participated in all 16 of the Buccaneers’ regular-season games in 2009, making eight starts. He also hauled in 15 passes for 130 yards and a touchdown. Oct. 2010 saw the Buccaneers release him. He recorded three receptions for 43 yards while playing for the Buccaneers in five games in 2010, including one start.
Stevens is married to professional goalkeeper Hope Solo, a former goaltender for the US women’s soccer team. When Solo returned from the Olympics in the middle of August 2012, they immediately began dating. Their wedding day was November 13, 2012. On March 4, 2020, the couple gave birth to their twins, Vittorio Genghis and Lozen Orianna Judith Stevens.
