Born LaRon Louis James, Juelz Santana is an American actor, composer, rapper, a member of the East Coast hip hop group has a net worth of $10 million as at 2022. He came to the spotlight through the rap group the Diplomat. His recognition in the music industry soared when he released his song called “Oh Boy” in 2002.
The rapper has featured in in several films and television series. He joined the cast of VH1 reality series “Love and Hip Hop: New York” recently. He formed a duo with his neighborhood friend Malik at the age of 12.

Juelz Santana was born on the 18th February 1982 in New York City, New York. His father has Dominican roots whiles his mother is an African-American. His love for rap came to the fore at a very young age of five years. He formed a rap duo with his neighborhood friend Malik at the age of 12. The duo gained recognition with their performances at the Apollo theatre did their fame a great deal of good.

At the age of 15, James and his friend Malik were signed by Priority Records. The duo released a single on the label “Play Ruff” featuring Memphis Bleek and Tracey Lee. James was introduced to Cam’ron by his cousin Tobe in 1998. He adopted the name Juelz Santana and became a member of the hip hop group “The Diplomats”.

In 2001, Cam’ron signed to Roc-a-Fella Records and released his third album which featured collaborations with Santana. In 2003, Santana earned his first Grammy Award nomination for Best Rap performance by a duo at the Grammy awards. The success of the album paved way for Santana to also sign deals with Roc-a-Fella. March 25, 2003 saw the group release their first album on Diplomatic Immunity. It sold 92,000 copies in the first week as well being certified Gold by the RIAA. Santana released his first album, “From Me to You” which made very significant headway in the Billboard 200.
His subsequent works include “Final Destination”, which was released on June 17, 2003, “Dipset (Santana’s Town)”, which made it to number 70 on the Billboard Top 100, and also received a nomination for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group at the 46th Grammy Awards. The Diplomats severed ties with Roc-a-Fella after petty squabbles between Cam’ron and Roc-A-Fella Records head Jay-Z.

Santana proposed to model Kimbella Vandehee on November 23, 2018. The lovers got married on January 10, 2019. They have three children together. The children are Juelz James, Bella Monroe James, and Santana James. The rapper has a son from an earlier relationship called LaRon Jr.
