Kevin Space was born Kevin Spacey Fowler on July 26th, 1959 in South Orange, New Jersey. He and his two siblings were brought up their parents. His father was technical writer and his mother was a secretary. At the age of four, Kevin’s family relocated to California.
Kevin recounts instances of abuse at the hands of his father who describes as a Nazi-sympathizing racist. He attended a military school for grades 10 and 11. He was sent to Chatsworth High School in his senior year. He joined his school’s theatre production which helped him polish his act.

He met luck quite early after a minor role in a Shakespeare play. In 1982, he made it into the Broadway production of “Ghosts”. He got major gigs in “The Misanthrope” and “Hurlyburly”. By the middle part of the 1980s, he had cemented himself as a formidable force in the New York theatre world with roles in Broadway productions “Sleuth” and “The Seagull”.
His role in the critically acclaimed “Long Day’s Journey Into Night” was undoubtedly the breakthrough he had waited for all his life. After a brief stint in television with “Crimes Story” Kevin focused his attention of film. With his eyes set on gaining a foothold in Hollywood, he worked his way in a range of plays. His performances in these plays won him a Tony Award.
Kevin’s major role in a film came in “See No Evil, Hear No Evil” in 1989. His talent became evident in a short time gaining him gigs in “The Ref” and “Swimming With Sharks”. Kevin was honored with an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1995 with “The usual Suspects”. He made a very momentous appearance in “Se7en” playing the role of serial killer before appearing in “A Time To Kill”.
He got a voice acting role in the animated film “A Bug’s Life” in 1998. He sealed his career as one of Hollywood’s most talented stars when he dazzled in “American Beauty” ultimately winning an Academy Award for Best Actor as well as a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.

Kevin was accused of making unwanted sexual advances at a 14-year old boy way back in 1986 when Kevin was 26 years. His alcohol pretext did not help him much as a barrage of allegations kept coming to the fore. A total of 15 of such cases could certainly not be a make-up.
Most of the victims were connected to the entertainment industry including the Old Vic theatre. Reps of the Old Vic said about 20 people had filed such complains against Kevin with three reporting the case to the police.

Fellow actor, Anthony Rapp alleged in October 2017 that Kevin had acted “inappropriately” to him when he was 14 years which elicited an apology from Kevin.
