Kris Jenner is an American reality television star, producer, media personality and author. She has $170 million in net worth as at 2023. She is famous for her appearance on the reality show, “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” as well as being the mother of reality starlets Kim Kardashian, Kourtney, Khloe Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner.
Kris Jenner first came to the attention of the public as the wife of Robert Kardashian. Kris’s former husband was part of O.J. Simpson’s defense team as well as being close pls with Nicole Simpson. The huge publicity that surrounded the trial was just the right springboard for Kris’s rise.

Early Life
Kris Jenner was born Kristen Mary Houghton on 5th November, 1955 in San Diego, California. Her parents are Mary Jo Shannon and Robert True Houghton. She had a very rough childhood with her parents always fighting. At the age of seven, her parents divorced with her mother taking full custody of them.
Her father left the picture completely leaving the upbringing of Kris and her sibling solely in their mother’s hands. Kris and her younger sibling Karen were raised solely by their mother Mary Jo in Clairemont, California. Her mother remarried a man named Harry Shannon a few years later. Kris attended Clairemont High School graduating in 1973. After school, she had stints working at a donut shop as well as a flight attendant for American Airlines.
Family
On July 8, 1978, Kris married Kardashian after quite some time together as lovers. The lovers met when Kris was 17 years old. They had three daughters namely Kourtney, Kim and Khloe and a son Rob together. Robert and Kris divorced in 1991. Robert died of esophageal cancer in 2003.
After Robert’s demise, Kris married Bruce Jenner (a former Olympic athlete) in 1991 after being engaged for only five months. The lovers have two children, Kendall and Kylie together. Kris assumed the role of Jenner’s manager after they got married. In June 2013, their marriage came to an end. The marriage was officially ended in December 2014. Bruce later came out in April 2015, officially changing his name to Caitlyn.
Career
She runs Jenner Communications based in Los Angeles as well as the manager of her five daughters. She has nicknamed herself the “momager” of the family. Kris released her autobiography titled “Kris Jenner …… and All Things Kardashian” in November 2011.
Her passion for cooking could not be swept under the carpet. She authored a cookbook “In The Kitchen with Kris: A Kollection of Kardashian-Jenner Family Favorites” in 2011. The book was published in October 2014.
Personal Life
Jenner at the age of 8 discovered she had a cancerous bone tumor which took surgery to remove. She confessed in her memoir about infidelity while she was married to Robert. During which time she had repeated affair with Todd Waterman finally leading to her divorce.
She has been dating entertainment businessman Corey Gamble who she is 25 years older than since 2014. She underwent a facelift as well as a nechlift for Kim Kardashian’s wedding to Kris Humphries in order to look her best for the cameras.
