Early Life
Leonardo DiCaprio was born on December 11, 1974. Leonardo has no siblings. He attended the Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies for four years before Seeds Elementary School and John Marshall High School. Leonardo dropped out of high school, however he managed to get his GED later on.
After gigs from minor commercials and television roles, Leonardo landed a Mettel commercial for the company’s Matchbox brand of cars. During his teen years, he featured in commercials for Bubble Yum, Apply Jacks, Kraft Foods among others.

Career
Leonardo cut his professional teeth with appearances in commercials as well as educational films. His earlier works include ‘Romeo and Juliet’. A few years later, he starred in The Beach and Titanic. These films were precursors to more roles, income and popularity in the years that followed.

Leonardo donates to a wide array of causes.
