Mac Miller was an American rapper. He had about $9 million in net worth at the time of his death in 2018. Mac made the entry into the world of music at a very young age. Malcolm James McCormick was born on January 19th 1992 in Pittsburgh. He was brought up in a predominantly Jewish family together with his brother. Mac’s mother is Jewish and his father is a Christian. Mac and his brother went to a Catholic school owing to the school’s highly rated athletics programs and academics. He began showing glimpses of his talent for the arts early. By the age of six, he knew how to play the drums, guitar, bass and piano. Mac released the mixtape “Best Day Ever” in 2011. It had the platinum-winning single “Donald Trump”. Mac released independently that same year his debut studio album “Blue Slide Park”. The album made it to gold certification although it received mixed reviews. After his mixtape “Macadelic” he found the record label imprint REMember Records. Mac appeared in the reality show dubbed “mac Miller and the Most Dope Family” which ran for six episodes. Mac released an album of solely instrumental tracks under the ego Larry Fisherman in 2013. He collaborated with Ariana Grande that same year on her single “The Way”. Mac drew the curtains on 2013 with the release of his second studio album “Watching Movies with the Sound Off”. After the mixtape “Faces” Mac signed a distribution deal between REMember Records and Warner Bros. Records. Mac met long-term girlfriend, Nomi Leasure during his middle school days. He was in an on-and-off relationship with Leasure throughout majority of his adult life.
