Matthew Langford Perry was born on 19th August, 1969 in Williamstown, Massachusetts. His parents are Suzanne (a Canadian-born journalist as well as the former secretary to Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau) and John Bennett Perry (an actor and model). At the very tender age of one, his parents divorced. His mother remarried when he was 12 years to Keith Morrison.
Career and Success
Matthew’s breakthrough happened at the age of 18. He was cast in “A Night In The Life Of Jimmy Reardon”. He pursued improv comedy and rapidly got to the position of a featured performer. His intention of enrolling in the University of Southern California got shelved after he was offered the role of Chazz Russell in “Second Chance” gaining recognition as a result.
Perry was rejected at the audition for “Friends” owing to his involvement in a TV drama “LAX 2194” which project took time to take off.
