Matthew Perry is an American actor and comedian. Matthew has approximately $120 million in net worth. He is notably famous for playing the role of Chandler Bing on the sitcom “Friends”. He featured in all 236 episodes of the show between 1994 and 2004. Prior to “Friends”, Matthew Perry had been noticed for his theatre work whiles in high school.
He also appeared in a number of guest starring roles after relocating to Los Angeles. Some of the shows she featured in are “Charles in Charge”, “Silver Spoons”, “Just the Ten of Us”, “Highway to Heaven”, “Growing Pains”, “Empty Nest”, “Who’s the Boss?”, “Beverly Hills, 90210”, “Sibs” among others.

Early Life
Matthew Langford Perry was born on 19th August, 1969 in Williamstown, Massachusetts. His parents are Suzanne (a Canadian-born journalist as well as the former secretary to Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau) and John Bennett Perry (an actor and model). At the very tender age of one, his parents divorced. His mother remarried when he was 12 years to Keith Morrison.

Career and Success
Matthew’s breakthrough happened at the age of 18. He was cast in “A Night In The Life Of Jimmy Reardon”. He pursued improv comedy and rapidly got to the position of a featured performer. His intention of enrolling in the University of Southern California got shelved after he was offered the role of Chazz Russell in “Second Chance” gaining recognition as a result.
Perry was rejected at the audition for “Friends” owing to his involvement in a TV drama “LAX 2194” which project took time to take off. He landed the role of Chandler Bing which role he gained a lot of fame for. Perry was honored with an Emmy nomination in 2002. Matthew Perry has also featured in several films; as “Three To Tango”, “Almost Heroes”, “Fools Rush In”, “The Whole Nine Yards”. In 2006, he starred in “The Ron Clark Story” which gained him an Emmy and a Golden Globe nominations.
He bagged home $540,000 for the first season of Friends making $22,500 per episode. The second season saw a boost of $40,000 per season making a total of $960,000 for the second season. Adding all earnings from season three to season ten the final season, each member earned a whopping $90 million in base salaries alone from the show. Backend bonuses and royalties would certainly bloat this figure.

Real Estate
The actor has made quite some investment in real estate. Perry sold a home in 2015 for $10.65 million. He listed a home he bought for $11 million in 2011 in Malibu for $15 million in 2020 before selling it for $13.1 million a year later.
