Miley Cyrus is an American singer, songwriter, actress and philanthropist. Miley has a net worth of approximately $160 million. She rose to the pinnacle of her career after very little beginnings. She started out as a child actor/singer before taking the world by storm. Miley’s work spans pop, country pop as well as hip hop. He was born into a family that leaned heavily towards showbiz.
Miley’s father Billy Ray Cyrus was the brain behind “Achy Breaky Heart” back in the 1990s. He enjoyed quite a respectable career both in the US and overseas. He and his wife had dreamt of their first child following in their footstep. Miss Miley did follow in her father’s steps just in bigger, weightier proportion. Early Life
Destiny Hope Cyrus was born on November 23, 1992 in Franklin, Tennessee, USA. Her parents are Tish Finley and Billy Ray Cyrus. Miley had a medica condition (supraventricular tachycardia) at birth. Her name, Destiny was given by her parents because they believed she was destined for greater things in life. Her constantly smiling nature as a child made her parents give her the nickname “Smiley”. The corrupted form of her nickname is “Miley”.
She later adopted this name, legally changing her name to Miley Ray Cyrus in 2008. During the filming of the television series “Doc” in 2001, her family moved to Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Miley grabbed her father’s hand and told him, “This is what I want to do, dady. I want to be an actress” after her father took her to see a production of “Mamma Mia!. True to her words, she began singing and acting lessons at the Armstrong Acting Studio in Toronto.

Miley cut her teeth in acting by playing Kylie in the television series “Doc” produced by her father. She won the audition for the lead role in a new Disney show about an average girl with a secret identity as a pop star. Miley received recognition with the show “Hannah Montana”.
It gave Miley the much needed leverage both as an actress and songwriter. She signed a contract with Hollywood Records to release a two-disc “Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus in June 2007. She is the brain behind such tracks as “Breakout”, Can’t Be Tamed”, “Bangerz” – all making very significant inroads.
She released “Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz” in 2015, “Younger Now” in 2017, “She is Miley Cyrus” in 2020. Her breakthrough singles are; The Climb, Party in the USA, We Can’t Stop” as well as “Wrecking Ball”. She has served as a mentor and a coach on the reality singing competition “The Voice”.

Personal Life
At the age of 14, Miley was certain about what she wanted for love. She is reported to have said to her mother, “I never want to label myself! I am ready to love anyone that loves me for who I am! I am open”. Miley is a pansexual. Time magazine published in June 2015 that Cyrus, 16 at the time was gender fluid – she doesn’t relate to being a boy or a girl and any partner she may have in future can be either a boy or girl.
Miley and Nick Jonas starting going out in the summer of 2006. Their affair attracted huge media interest. The love affair was rather short-lived. The relationship came to an abrupt end in December 2007. She dated Justin Gaston a model for nine months between 2008 and 2009. Miley and Liam Hemsworth got together in 2009 during the filming of “The Last Song”. The relationship lasted for a decade. Miley dated Lucas Till and Josh Bowman both actors shortly before reuniting with Hemsworth.
The two got engaged from 2012 to 2013 before breaking up. Miley dated Patrick Schwarzenegger, Stella Maxwell and Dane Cook. In March 2016, Miley and Hemsworth got together for the second time and got engaged in October 2016. The lovers got married in December 2018 only to end their relationship nine months later.
