Neville Gallimore Early Life
On January 17, 1997, Gallimore was born in Canada. Jamaicans make up his parents. His father, Carlton, is a farmer, and his mother, Merdiva, is a nurse. His brothers’ names are Gary and Garry. He played defensive tackle at St. Patrick’s High School, where he first attended. He made the decision to go to the Canada Prep Academy in Welland, Ontario, which gave him the opportunity to tour the country and face off against some of the finest high school football programs. He was the first player from Canada to receive an invitation to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. He accepted an offer from the University of Oklahoma to play collegiate football after receiving 30 scholarship offers from American universities after high school graduation.

He participated in football for the Oklahoma Sooners at Oklahoma. His first year at Oklahoma in 2015 was spent as a redshirt, and as a freshman in 2016, he participated in all 13 games, starting six of the final eight. He started the first five games of his sophomore season and participated in 12 of his 14 total games, missing only two due to injury. He started 13 of the 14 games he played in as a junior, recording 50 tackles, 3 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles. He started 14 games as a senior and finished with 30 tackles, 4 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles. He had 148 total tackles (18 for loss), 9 sacks, 5 forced fumbles, and 3 College Football Playoff appearances by the time he concluded his college career.

The Dallas Cowboys selected Gallimore with the 82nd overall choice in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft. In a 34-37 victory over the New York Giants in Week 5 he made his first NFL tackle. Even though he only participated in 20 snaps in the first four games, he was selected as the three-technique defensive tackle’s starter. His biggest performance came in Week 9 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, who were unbeaten at the time.
He made 3 tackles and one quarterback hit while helping to hold their offense to just 46 rushing yards. His stats included 26 tackles, 0.5 sacks, 12 quarterback pressures, and one pass defense in 14 games, nine of which he started. Gallimore is not married and is not engaged either but is said to be dating a lady called Chelsie Stevens.
