Nick Foles, full name Nicholas Edward Foles, plays quarterback for the National Football League’s Indianapolis Colts. (NFL). In the National Football League, he started playing football officially in 2012.

Nick Foles Early Life

In January 1989, Foles was born in Texas, a state in the United States, to restaurateurs Larry and Melissa Foles. He played football for Westlake High School, where he started two seasons. Drew Brees, a foe of Foles’ in the NFL, had previously held most of the school marks he broke with his 5,658 passing yards and 56 touchdowns. After graduating in 2007, he decided to spend a year at Michigan State University. From 2008 to 2011, he played college football for the Arizona Wildcats football squad after transferring to the University.


His freshman year in 2008 had to be redshirted, and he began the remainder of the season in 2009, finishing 260 of 409 pass attempts for 2,486 yards, 19 touchdowns, and 9 interceptions. With 3,191 yards, 20 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions, he completed his junior year in 2010. He completed 387 of his 560 attempts for 4,334 yards and 28 scores in 2011. In 2011, he earned a degree in communication from the University of Arizona.

The Philadelphia Eagles selected Nick Foles with the 88th overall selection in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft. On May 21, 2012, he agreed to a four-year deal with the group. He threw just 2 interceptions and 27 touchdown strikes during the regular 2013 season. The Eagles transferred Nick Foles to the St. Louis Rams in March 2015. In August 2015, he agreed to a two-year, $24.5 million contract deal with the Rams. He allegedly thought about quitting after his unsuccessful season with the Rams, but in August 2016 he signed with the Kansas City Chiefs instead. It was a $1.75 million one-year contract with a second-year option for 2017 that could be worth between $6.75 million and $16 million, based on how well he performed for the Chiefs in 2016.

He became a free agent after the Chiefs decided against exercising a second-year option on his deal in March 2017. He re-signed with the Philadelphia Eagles in March 2017 on a two-year deal. A new, revised deal with a $2 million bonus was reached between Foles and the Eagles in April 2018. A four-year, $88 million deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars was inked by Foles in March 2019. Guaranteed at $50.1 million, the potential for bonuses to pay up to $102 million. The Chicago Bears acquired him in a deal on March 31, 2020. In May 2022, he committed to playing for the Indianapolis Colts for two years. Tori Moore and Foles wed in 2014. A son will be born in June 2020, and the pair also has a daughter who was born in 2017.
