Nijier Lanier Washington is popularly known as Plies. He is an American rapper with an estimated $20 million in net worth. He was born in Myers, Florida, USA. Plies’s major work as a rapper was done in 2007 when he did his maiden work titled, “The Real Testament”. The American rapper got nominated for Grammy and BET awards.
Plies and his step-brother formed their own independent record company called “Big gates Records” in the early 1990s. He subsequently got a recording contract with the record label Slip-N-Slide Records. Plies went to Miami University.

Nijier Lanier Washington was born in July, 1976 in Myers, Florida. The rapper is popularly known as Plies. Plies remains discrete about his parents and siblings. Plies spent most of his early days in East Dunbar.
He had his high school education at Fort Myers Senior High School. He went to Miami University after graduating from Myers Senior High School. He got a transfer to University of Central Florida but dropped out of school. It was this time that he nurtured his dream to be a professional football player. He played in the school’s football team.
Career
Plies began his career by forming his own record label, “Big Gates” records alongside his step-brother. His debut album, “The Real Testament” became was a breakthrough in 2007. The rapper became famous and wealthy after signing with “Slip-n-Slide”.
His “Lose My Mind” remix won BET Hip Hop Award for Best Club Banger in 2010. He won the BET Hip Hop Award for Best Collabo Duo or Group in 2008 with “Bust it Baby”. The second renditition of “Bust It Baby” got nominated for best hip hop artist in 2007
Personal Life
Plies’ love relationship with Brandy Lacole produced one child in 2003. He is Nijier Lanier Washington. The lovers went their separate ways later on. Plies was said to be in a relationship with a very famous American radio personality known as Angela Yee. The rapper remains single today although there are rumors linking him to Angela Yee and Lira Galore.
