Early Life
Ryan Rodney Reynolds was born on 23rd October, 1976 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Ryan is the youngest son of James Chester Reynolds and Tamara Lee. She was raised Catholic, growing up in Vancouver’s Kitsilano neighborhood. He went to Kitsilano Secondary School and graduated in 1994. He later attended Kwantlen Polytechnic University where he dropped out.

Career
Ryan’s career began when he was still in high school back in 1991 during which time he landed the role of Billy Simpson in the Canadian teen soap opera “Hillside”. He had a recurring role on “The Odyssey” as Macro in 1993. During this time, he appeared in “X-Files”, “In Cold Blood” as well as co-star in “Sabrina the Teenage Witch”.
Ryan has starred in movies such as “National Lampoon’s Van Wilder”, ), “Blade: Trinity”, “The Amityville Horror”, “Smokin’ Aces”, “The Proposal”, “Buried”, “Women in Gold”, ), “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” just to mention a few.
Ryan remains one of the few actors to headline films based on both Marvel and dC characters. He found breakthrough in 2016 with “Deadpool” after his previous film flopped both financially and critically. In 2016, “Deadpool” film rebooted the character of Deadpool creating a new backstory that fits more closely with the original Marvel Comics source material.
Ryan voice acted in two Dreamworks animation films, “The Croods” and “Turbo” as well as voice Pikachu in “Pokeman Detective Pikachu”. He was decorated with a Saturn Award for Best Actor for “Deadpool” as well as a People’s Choice Award for favorite Movie Actor.
In 2017, he received the nomination for a Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture. Ryan was decorated with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for Motion Pictures at 8601 Hollywood Blvd.

Personal Life
After dating Canadian singer Alanis Morissette for two years, the lovers became engaged in 2004. The union lasted for only three years. The couple split in 2007 when Ryan began dating American actress Scarlet Johansson.
Ryan and Johansson tied the know in September 2008. The lovers separated in December 2010 finalizing their divorce in 2011. Ryan got romantically involved with co-star Blake Lively. The two got married in September 2012. The lovers have three daughters together. Somewhere in 2018, Ryan became an American citizen.
