Ryan Seacrest is an American radio personality, television host, producer and entrepreneur. Ryan has about $450 million in net worth. He earns averagely between $60-$80 million every year from his entertainment and entrepreneurial empire. Ryan’s fame owes to hosting the American Idol. Today, he also hosts, “American Top 40”, and “On Air with Ryan Seacrest.
In May 2017, he began hosting “Live with Kelly and Ryan”. Ryan is the executive producer of a number of reality shows including Keeping With the Kardashians and its offshoots. Ryan was able to leverage his very strong brand in radio into a television-hosting career that is rated very highly and in the same category with Dick Clark.

Early Life
Ryan John Seacrest was born on December 24, 1974 in Atlanta, Georgia. Ryan was raised in Dunwoody, Georgia. He began honing his skill as a child. He attended Dunwoody High School. Whiles in high school, he interned with the radio station WSTR-FM (star 64). He had his shot to be on air for the first time when the DJ called in sick.
His performance earned him the opportunity to host the weekend overnight shift. After graduating from high school in 1992, he enrolled at the University of Georgia to study journalism. He abandoned university education only after a year and relocated to Hollywood to pursue his passion in radio.

Career
Ryan found success immediately he got to Los Angeles in 1993. He was handed the opportunity to host ESPN’s “Radical Outdoor Challenge”. Between 1993 and 2003, Ryan hosted a number of shows including “Gladiators 2000”, “American Gladiators” (kids version), “Wild Animal Games”, “Click”, “Lover’s Lane”, “NBC Saturday Night Movie”, and the practical joke show “Ultimate Revenge”.
The idea of hosting a competition type reality show on Fox known as “American Idol” was suggested to Ryan. This single move transformed Ryan Seacrest into a star following the immense popularity that the show garnered. He remained his seat as the host of the show until its final season in April 2016.
He has been the executive producer and co-host of “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. Ryan marked his 15th year of hosting the show in 2019. He hosts a number of Hollywood’s red carpet events including the Academy Awards and the Emmys.
Ryan signed a two-year contract worth $30 million to continue as the host of American Idol. he is reported to have bagged in excess of $10 million for the ABC reboot of American Idol. He earned $74 million between June 2017 and June 2018. Ryan made another $60 million between 2019 and 2020.

Personal Life
In 2009, on The Howard Stern Show, Ryan made known of his two year on-and-off relationship with Sara Jean Underwood (model). He started dating Julianne Hough of Dancing with the Stars. Their relationship came to an end on March 15, 2013. He was honored with a Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters Degree at University of Georgia when he went there to give advice to alumni.
He was involved in a not-too-stable relationship with Shayna Taylor. The two split in 2014, reunited in 2017 and split again in February 2019. The lovers reunited for the third time in 2019 before splitting again in 2020.
