Aron Diggs and Stephanie Diggs welcomed Trevon Diggs into the world on September 20, 1998 in Gaithersburg, Maryland, in the United States. Darez Diggs and professional football star Stefon Diggs are his two older siblings. When Diggs was a sophomore, he made the decision to move from Thomas S. Wootton High School to The Avalon School. In high school, he was a wide receiver and defensive back. He has 78 receptions for 1,008 yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior. He recorded 1,269 receiving yards as a senior. At receiver, he was twice named to the All-Washington D.C. Metro team. He made a commitment to play college football at Alabama University. Diggs was a return specialist, wide receiver, and safety for Alabama in 2016 as a true freshman. With 11 receptions for 88 yards and a score on offense, five tackles and one forced fumble on defense, and 296 total return yards on special teams, he had a successful season. He permanently shifted to cornerback as a sophomore. He started the first six games of the season as a junior before suffering a fractured foot and retiring. He had 20 tackles and a pick-six by year’s end. He made 37 tackles, three interceptions, eight passes defensed (tied for the team lead), two fumble recoveries, and started 12 games as a senior in 2019.
